2024 DRAFT AND WAIVER ORDER

DRAFT ORDER

The draft order is shown below. For purposes of the draft order, teams are divided into three groups:

· Group A – Teams that were not in the playoffs in both of the two preceding seasons

· Group B – Teams that were in the playoffs in both of the preceding two seasons

· Group C – Teams that were in the playoffs in all of the preceding three seasons

Group A teams draft first in each round, followed by Group B teams and then Group C teams. Within each group the draft order is based upon the point formula specified in the rules, with teams drafting from lowest points to highest points.

In the chart below, the first column shows the order before overuse penalties. The remaining columns show the order for each round of the January Draft after assessment of over-usage penalties.

WAIVER ORDER

The waiver order is based solely upon the point formula specified in the rules, with teams drafting from lowest points to highest points. That is, teams are NOT divided into groups for purposes of determining the waiver order. Overuse penalties are not applied to the waiver order. The waiver order determines:

• Order for waiver picks to be made in March 2024
• The number of players each team may retain when rosters are cut in March 2024
• #1 - #5 = 32 players
• #6 - #10 = 31 players
• #11 - #15 = 30 players
• #16 - #20 = 29 players
• #21 - #28 = 28 players
